Bare Escentuals I.D. Bare Minerals Foundation

I hate to admit it, I watched the infomercial and was completely intrigued. Mineral Foundation is the total rage right now. On my last trip to Sephora, I got a mini Bare Minerals makeover and was sold. Swirl, tap, buff. This simple powder is magic. Lots of people are scared of foundation cause it’s hard to apply. This product is so simple, a polished look with one powder. Available at Sephora and on the Shopping Channel.

Benefits Lyin’ Eyes

For the late nights chatting on MSN, hitting the books or partyin’ the night away, nothing beats a good concealer for those dark circles. Available at the Benefit counters at the Bay.

Nars Blush in Orgasm

Nars blush in Orgasm is a peachy pink with shimmer. Flushed cheeks anytime in seconds. Available at Holt Renfrew.

Lancome Flextencils Mascara

Mascara is a total must for me. I think nothing makes your eyes pop better than a good eyelash curler and a few coats of mascara. Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1

It’s starting to get chilly, take care of your lips with Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1. Available at Kiehl’s on Robson Street.

Too Faced Lip Injection

I’m all about a fuller and plumper lip. No real injections needed here, just a tingly little potion (applied like a gloss) that gives your lips that extra oomph. Too Faced Lip Injection is available at the Beauty Bar on West 4th, Kiss and Makeup at the Park Royal Village in West Vancouver and Essential Day Spa on West 10th.

MAC Lipglass in Nymphette

Nymphette is a sheer pink with gold shimmer. I wanna pout my lips whenever I put this on. Available at all MAC counters at the Bay and freestanding stores.

Clean and Clear Blotting Paper

I hate to admit it, but my face gets shiny sometimes. I use the blue Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets religiously. Available at drugstores like London Drugs and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Summer is long gone, hope you packed away all the bikinis and mini-skirts. Unless of course, you’re lucky enough to be going on a vacation somewhere sunny and hot, in that case, I hate you. The cold icky weather often means we just end up feeling blah. What’s a quick easy fix to cure this blahness? A power shopping trip always helps, but then you’ll have to deal with the hefty credit card bill at the end of the month. So that’s a no go. A nice big slab of chocolate cake always makes me feel better. But then that means you have to spend that extra hour or two at the gym. Too much work.

The solution? Benefit’s Dandelion, the perk-me-up pink powder. This has been a daily essential in my makeup kit for the past two years. What is a perk-me-up powder? It’s not exactly a blush, although you can use it as blush, it’s just not as pigmented. The light powder is meant to be swept all over the face and it immediately gives you that “I’ve slept 8 hours and am completely rested” look. Even if you’ve really only slept 3 hours after a night of hard partying and too many shots of JD, yikes. It won’t do anything for the hangover, but at least you’ll look pretty. Did you know eight out of ten women wear the wrong bra size?

Finding the right bra is super important, it can make you look slimmer and eliminate sagging. You might not be sagging right now, but honey, in 20 years you’re going to wish you wore the right bra when you were young. Gravity will have kicked in and there will be no turning back! Ok, except maybe plastic surgery, but you know all of those plastic surgery horror stories and there’s always the chance of looking unrecognizable and unnatural, … la Ashlee Simpson. Super hot looking now, but are you sure it’s really her?

Here are some tips from the Oprah website on how to find just the right size. To be on the safe side, I’d go to a lingerie store and actually ask them to measure you. Don’t be shy, it’s only about five to ten minutes of awkwardness. Your boobs will thank you and so will all the guys checking you out!

I got a chance to do some bra shopping at La Senza this week. Oh my, I hate shopping. I mean I love shopping, but whenever I step into stores and see their new lines, I get crazy excited and end up buying everything in sight. Love this Festive Delights Lace Push up bra, my pick is the hot fuschia pink, pretty scalloped lace with a sexy deep V. Also loving the Dozen Roses Extreme Cleavage Bra, total bombshell bra and it’s all about the va va voom red. I’m currently obsessed with leopard print and the La Senza UltraSoft So Free Leopard Bra is just oh so perfect. It really is super comfy and with the leopard pattern, you feel a little like a bad girl even under your Sunday sweats.

Go get measured and make sure you’re not one of those girls wearing the wrong bra. And if you are, it’s ok. You’ll just have to go on a mini-bra shopping spree. Did somebody say shopping spree?
