Sustainable fashion seems to be en vogue these days. This past Wednesday, Kwantlen University College’s grads showed off their collections at the River Rock to a full audience. The music was great, the models were hot and the clothes…well they were insanely tempting. Every collection was hot, and almost all of them had something that I would love to buy.
If I went through all the collections I loved, you’d be reading through pages and pages of stuff. The outfits were fierce, the models were sexy, and the music was infectious. The best part? Everything was made with sustainable materials. Now that’s hot.
Flaunt by Alecia Ebbels.
I am a huge fan of underwear. Anything that helps lift the girls is cool by me. And if you’ve got it, flaunt it. Alecia’s designs scream “flaunt me! show me off”! I loved the girly, frilly details; the silky, shiny material; and the use of lace – it’s so cheeky! Sorry about the pun, but it had to be there. Definitely not part of your everyday wardrobe, but lingerie that you should definitely have in your boudoir to spice it up just a touch.

House of Luv by Brieanna Soo
This girl’s three-outfit collection made me want to hit the dance floor as soon as her models walked down the runway. Especially when the disco ball went down! Her designs walk the line between hot and classy – where everything is still covered up, but it’s still sexy enough to hit the club with the girls. Each of the outfits are named after clubs that play house music, and the colours are after house songs.

The Eden dress is pictured up above in black (Tonight). Silk charmeuse with couching embellishments that will move with you when you shake that booty on the dance floor.

The Crush dress is shown here in a dark purple (Elektro). This dress is fierce – silk charmeuse with hand embellishments and hand-carved wooden details.
