Light It Up!

Want to be light on your feet… literally? Add a certain pep to your step with a pair of kicks from Chuck Taylor Women’s All Star Light Collection by Converse. The first line of Lights in canvas are taking to the streets for Spring in blue, grape and raspberry. Think of them as the original Chuck Taylor’s thinner, hotter, more feminine and tailored fashionista friendly little sister - yah, I said it. The silhouette is modern and so light the dancers from So You Think You Can Dance Canada shimmied while wearing them on-stage. Just get lit.

Converse All Star Women’s Light High-Top $60 CAD
Converse All Star Women’s Light Oxford $55 CAD

Available in Vancouver at Gravity Pope, True Value Vintage, Mavi Jeans, and El Kartel. For national availability visit www.converse.com or call 1-800-387-9550.

hmmmm i find it interesting that converse is changing up the silhouette for girls. Nike is doing so with their dunk highs as well (I don’t like that they’re making it into a skinny dunk) for me I like the original chucks (but don’t wear them) as well as the original dunks highs. I don’t know what it is but i love the extra space and i hate rolling on my ankle (why i don’t like most pumas). But hey I’m sure it’s going to be a pretty decent seller for the girly girls :)

I got a pair of graffiti hi-top chucks and I always feel weird in them, even though they are totally cute. I’m one of those girly girls who needs it to be taken down a few notches.

i love converse, and i like how they’re making ones that are a bit “girlier”, although i will always love the original chuck taylors.

I’m a traditionalist when it comes to my converse. But I will admit after seeing these in person - def cute and perfect for the grunge spring styles (like shown in the Aritzia posts)
