Whitney goes on a Hampton’s weekend getaway with Roxy, Sammie and those darn Fackelmeyer brothers. Let’s take a Hamptons Jitney ride through the fashions in episode 6 of The City.
- Sunning on the great lawn in Central Park, but Whitney is that a bathing suit top or a bra top? Looks more like the latter. Perhaps Whitney took a gander at fellow Style Spy writer Nicole’s post ‘Lingerie Show and Tell’
- Awww, it’s love at the tennis court for Whitney and Freddie’s third date. Looks like they’re already doing the his and hers matching white and grey tennis outfits. How sickening cute.
- Large oversized statement accessory of the episode goes to Olivia’s large gemmed necklace at the Elle offices
- Shoes, shoes, shoes! Erin and Whitney sporting fashionably high heels. Jane Aldridge from the blog ‘Sea of Shoes’ in the background teetering on some unique looking black Mary Janes. Love Jane! A classic beauty with the most major designer shoe collection to boot ever. Jealous.
- Sticking your head out the sunroof, giving a woot woot and blowing kisses to the sounds of Mariah Carey’s ‘Heartbreaker’ is never in style. Yikes, Roxy, put that all away.
- The Fackelmeyer boys are both sporting flippy wavy hair and white shirts at the Lily Pond. How very ‘Night at the Roxbury’ of them.
Best Outfit of the Night: Olivia’s green army jacket, grey shorts and grey suede shoes. Love how the masculine army jacket was softened with a girly over the top statement necklace.
Needs a re-style: So wasn’t into Olivia’s bright yellow and blue skirt combo. She should have hid this outfit behind the Birkin.
Tonight’s outfits were a little lackluster due to Freddie Fackelmeyer’s douche bag behavior. Episode 7 looks more promising with Roxy and Whitney bickering backstage at a fashion show and Kelly Cutrone vehemently reprimanding them for their childish behavior. Until next week.

Agreed, episode was very dull and not entertaining. It was difficult to watch because of the orange glare that kept reflecting off of Freddie’s skin. And what kind of name is Freddie? esp when his last name is Fackelmeyer… it’s all bad.
