I call Sunday, Sunday Fun Day. The goal of course, is to have loads of fun. Cause well, it’s Sunday people, you gotta take it easy and chill out. My Sunday included at stop at the Cupcake Challenge at the Roundhouse in Yaletown and Car Free Day on Main Street. The day lived up to the name.

First stop, taste testing at the Cupcake Challenge. Theresa from Cake Tease happily explained to me the different flavours on the table. I heard rumours that their Cookies n Cream one was delish - and it was, the cupcake was light and fluffy and not too sweet. Flipping through their portfolio, I also spotted some amazing cakes including a Tiffany & Co. wrapped box and a Chanel quilted purse.

I must confess. I didn’t make it through all the cupcake booths. Talk about Style Spy fail. These little pieces of heaven are from Bon Gateau - chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and mango. I heard Frosting Cupcakery (who was at one of the previous Style Spy events) won the challenge - congrats!

Main Street, definitely one of my favourite areas to chill out on a Sunday. Hope you got a chance to hit up one of the car free days in your neighbourhood. What an awesome street party.

Lots of booths set-up with local vendors. I was on the hunt for feather earrings…

I ended up snagging a pair at the Kalos booth. The gals had a great selection and the prices were awesome - $10 for earrings and $15 for necklaces.

I don’t know what exactly was going on here, but these guys sure made me laugh. Talk about a mobile office.

Pretty jewellery from District Thirty.

Another amusing sight, exercising on a bike and make a margarita at the same time. Genius! Does this guy not remind you of Dave 1 from Chromeo?

Ora recycled leather handbags.
Until next weekend!
