When people ask me how much I shop. I always say “not much really”. I’m obviously delusional cause I seem to end up with some kind shopping bag every weekend. So much credit card swiping that my signature has rubbed off. It never gets old though. Here is the weekend in review, shopping & more.

Was following @kensie_clothing on Twitter from Wednesday to Friday - they were shooting their Fall 2010 campaign at Sugar Studios and at Judas Goat (above). I decided to do a quick drop-in to get a sneak peek of the Fall 2010 kensiegirl collection.

A drop-in at Forever 21 at Metropolis at Metrotown. Been inspired lately to spend more time with accessories. I typically get annoyed when I wear rings or bracelets, cause I’m always typing away on the keyboard. But you can’t go really wrong with cheap finds like these, various rings, $5.50 CAD.

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned how I can’t wear bangles cause I have small wrists, but that doesn’t stop me from looking. The one on the right reminds me of the CC Skye bangles, except way more affordable. Bangles at Forever 21, $10.80 CAD. I ended up scooping up a bandage style black and white striped skirt for just under $20.

You know how grocery stores have gum at check-in for impulse shopping. At Aritzia they have Marc by Marc Jacob bangles. I did some damage at Aritzia this weekend. A Wilfred grey pocket tank (it’s so light & hangs perfectly), nude coloured cardigan (buying things in multiples - I already have the black one), white cropped tee (loved cropped tops now) and a Wilfred linen mauve scarf (an impulse purchase as I waited for my friend to purchase a Minkpink dress). My shopping date did point out that they’re all basics - essentials really. So no guilt whatsoever.

I mentioned last week that I was on the hunt for a cute drawstring bag. I spotted these in at Aritzia’s Den. Out of my price range (just under $500) - but it’s close to what I’m looking for.

Somehow a quickie stop at the beauty department at Holt Renfrew ended up in the shoe department where there were some major sales going on. There’s still lots to choose from.
Saturday night party, Kaskade at the Commodore. He always delivers.

Best way to end the weekend? Chocolate of course. The bestie and I dropped by Dulcinea Cafe for Spanish hot chocolate and churros. Until next weekend!
