1. Contest Entry Period starts at 12:00am PST on August 16, 2008 and continues until 11:59pm PST on August 24, 2008 the Contest Entry Closing Date. Voting Period starts 12:00am PST August, 30, 2008 and continues until 11:59pm PST September 7, 2008. No purchase necessary. The Style Spy is not responsible for any entries which are incomplete, lost, stolen, destroyed, delayed, or not transmitted due to technical failure, however caused.

2. In-person entry is open to all residents of British Columbia and the online entry is open to all residents in Canada who are female and between the ages of 14 – 29 years at the time of entry. If you are a minor, any and all statements below regarding your agreement to or acceptance of these legal rules and regulations mean the agreement or acceptance of your parent or legal guardian. You must have your parents or legal guardian’s permission to enter the contest.

3. Only one entry per person either in-person at Metropolis at Metrotown or online at www.thestylespy.com/contest. In-person entries can be submitted to The Style Spy at Metropolis at Metrotown, Atrium Court (4700 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4M1) on August 16, 17, 23 and 24, 2008. Entrant will be snapped in front of backdrop and will receive a free CoverGirl AmazeMint lip gloss (one per entry), while quantities last. Online entries can be completed at www.thestylespy.com/contest, fill out form and upload a photograph in a JPG or GIF format. Any person entering more than once will be automatically disqualified. Entrants must tell us why they should be the next Style Spy girl. Ten (10) winners will be chosen, nine (9) from in-person entries at Metropolis at Metrotown and one (1) from online entries. The nine (9) in-mall winners must participate in a grand finale event at Metropolis at Metrotown on Saturday, September 13, 2008. The winners must be available for a rehearsal of the week before September 13, date TBD.

4. All entries become the property of The Style Spy and none shall be returned.

5. The grand prize will consist of ten (10) winners who will each win a prize valued at approximately $500

6. Entrants will be judged on how well the girl can represent The Style Spy brand, she is stylish, fun, outgoing, sassy and just plain fabulous. Twenty (20) finalists will be chosen on August 25, 2008, the selected finalists will be notified by phone or email. The twenty (20) finalists will then be featured on thestylespy.com/contest for a voting period from August 30 to September 7, 2008. The winning ten (10) girls will be notified by phone or email. In the event that a selected entrant does not comply with these contest rules and regulations, or cannot be contacted within three (3) days of the draw, an alternate entrant will be selected from the remaining entries.

7. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received and on the originality of the entrant’s written submission. The general public will be able to vote for the twenty (20) finalists between August 30, 2008 and September 7, 2008 on thestylespy.com/contest both online and in-mall on August 30, 31, September 6, 7, 2008. The final ten (10) winners will be determined by both final votes and by The Style Spy judges.

8. The Prize winner must sign the Waiver/Release of liability as a condition to and in advance of receiving the Prize in favour of The Style Spy and the other sponsors such that none of them shall be liable for the use or misuse of the Prize (parent or legal guardian will be asked to sign this form on behalf of the winner if the selected winner is under the age of 18). The Style Spy and the other sponsors assume no responsibility for the participation in the Contest, or any liability, claims, demands, actions, loss, damage or personal injury that may be sustained by either the winner of the Prize or his/her guest.

9. Participation in the Contest constitutes permission to The Style Spy and the sponsors and their agencies to use the name, age, city of resident and/or photograph and/or likeness of the winner (and his/her guest) purposes of promotion, advertising, and trade without further compensation.
